Darke Horse - a Sheffield-based funk/rock band

Biography

  • Darke Horse formed at the end of 2007 after friends Simon Kaviani, Chris Gill, Joe Pearson and Jonno Lodge resolved to bring entertaining rock back into the mainstream. The funk/rock foursome from Sheffield blend Chili Peppers-inspired rock with a smattering of Thin Lizzy leads and a touch of Northern attitude to form a fresh, fun, funkadelic sound.

Darke Horse's rock and rollercoaster ride to the here-and-now has taken them from the humble surroundings of the back of a cushion factory to the front of a recording studio, via Nashville, Tennesee. Debut single Flat Screen Suicide is currently being pimped up and down the country and is airing on LAVA TV (SKY 378). Watch this space... it's all about to get big.
